Electrical Stimulation and Low Back Pain

Electrical Stimulation and Low Back Pain

While it is no great secret that a regular doctor has little to offer the back pain sufferer, chiropractors have a lot of weapons they use. There are tables with rollers on them, and some even use inversion tables.

Another method they use is electrical stimulation. I have had this treatMent before, and felt no relief at all. I can not even say I know anyone who has benefited from it.

All I can see it doing stimulating muscles that are already damaged and overworked. It does nothing to build up their strength. It most likely will increase the blood flow, and that may feel like some temporary relief.

For me, electrical stimulation for low back pain is a scam treatMent. You get hooked up to this expensive looking machine and billed accordingly. Any benefit has long vanished before you even get home.

Like most of what the medical profession offers for back pain, electrical stimulation is a bad idea and a waste of your hard earned money. It would be far better for you to understand that a small amount of exercise can do a lot of good.

Hooking up some electrical device to harass already suffering muscles just doesn't make sense. If you do the right exercise, the right way, and at the right time, you will go a long way toward ending your back pain.

Hopefully one day you will learn that doctors and gimmicks can not undo the damage you have allowed to occur in your low back over the years. By applying common sense and caution to exercise you can overcome a life time of negligence in a very short time.
